      I've been doing Viking reenactment for 8 years and these are the best boots I've ever owned. The cowhide leather is thick but supple they molded to my feet by day two at Pennsic. My old pair from a costume shop fell apart after two events. These are built to last years. The hand-stitching is incredibly tight and the leather sole grips grass and dirt perfectly. Already ordering a second pair in dark brown.
