At Old Realm Leather, we make historical leather boots and footwear for Renaissance fairs, LARP, reenactment, cosplay, and everyday wear. Many pairs are handmade to order, so production time is required before dispatch.
By placing an order on oldrealmleather.com, you agree to the shipping terms below.
1. Order Processing and Production Time
Most of our leather boots and footwear are handmade to order.
- Standard production time: 7–10 business days from the date your order is confirmed.
- Possible variations: Custom sizing, special design requests, high seasonal order volume, or holiday periods can occasionally require additional production time.
If an order is expected to require substantially more time than the standard production window, we will contact you with an update.
2. Express Shipping and Delivery Time
Once production is complete and your order is dispatched, estimated express transit time is 3–5 business days.
Transit estimates begin after dispatch and can be affected by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, severe weather, regional holidays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
3. Shipping Destinations
We ship worldwide to destinations serviced by our express delivery partners. If your country or region is not available at checkout, contact us at support@oldrealmleather.com so we can review available delivery options.
4. Shipping Carriers
We primarily use trusted international express carriers including DHL Express, FedEx, and Aramex. The carrier selected for an order depends on the destination, delivery address, and available route at the time of dispatch.
5. Tracking Your Shipment
After your order is dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided with your order.
Please allow approximately 24–48 hours after carrier pickup for the first tracking scan or status update to appear.
6. Shipping Costs
Free shipping is included on all Old Realm Leather orders. No minimum purchase is required.
Return shipping, exchanges, and return eligibility are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. If prepaid return shipping applies to your approved return or exchange, we will provide the appropriate instructions.
7. Customs, Duties, VAT, and Import Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or local carrier charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer. Old Realm Leather does not control local customs charges and cannot guarantee the time required for customs clearance.
8. Accurate Shipping Address
Please provide a complete and accurate physical delivery address and a reachable phone number at checkout.
- Review your address carefully before submitting your order.
- Express carriers may not be able to deliver to every PO box.
- If you notice an address error, contact us immediately. We can only change delivery details before the parcel has been dispatched.
Old Realm Leather is not responsible for delivery failures, returns to sender, or additional costs caused by an incomplete or incorrect address supplied by the customer.
9. Unexpected Delivery Delays
Carrier or customs delays can occasionally happen after dispatch. If your tracking appears stalled or you need help understanding a delivery update, contact us with your order number and we will assist you and, when appropriate, open an inquiry with the carrier.
10. Missing or Lost Packages
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you cannot locate it, first check the delivery area, mailbox, household members, neighbors, building reception, or other secure locations around the address.
If the package remains missing, contact us at support@oldrealmleather.com. We will review the shipment and may open a formal carrier investigation before a replacement or refund can be finalized.
11. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible and within 7 days of delivery. Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the outer packaging
- Clear photographs showing the damage to the footwear
After review, we will provide the appropriate resolution in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.

Important: Production and transit times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. If you need your order for a wedding, Renaissance fair, LARP event, reenactment, or another fixed date, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether the expected timing is realistic.
